"I always like making up my own stories and writing about them or just thinking abut them."
Hometown: Cleveland, Ohio
Six-word Memoir: Old soul, young spirit, hopeful heart.
Why did you choose to get involved in storytelling?
I always like making up my own stories and writing about them or just thinking abut them. I guess somewhere along the way, I started wanting to tell real stories.
What story are you most proud of?
The story I am most proud of is my interview with a representative heights community congress. I sent a hour with in front of an audience and asked her questions about her work. I also did a little videography for my co interviewer who did a similar interview on a client of the organization. We also got to edit commercials for the people who asked if we help film. We did such a good job, that they paid us which was cool but we had no idea they were going to do that.
How can youth media change the world?
It can do an entertaining tutorial on how to stay safe. A mini documentary can reach people and show them whats really going on because not everyone is taking this as serious as it should be taken.
Who is your role model?
In all honestly I don’t just have one role model. For the different parts of me, there are different role models. For example, when I play soccer, I look up yo Alex Morgan. Whenever im working on a story or project, I look up to my teacher Ms. Booker.
