Why did you choose to get involved in storytelling?
I chose to get involved in storytelling because I want to shine the light on some stories that don’t get out there and there are many types of those stories.
What story are you most proud of?
The story I am most proud of the “Behind the Scenes” video I did for our newspaper staff. I was proud of this video because of the funny and creative ideas I had for this video and I had a great time working on it.
How can youth media change the world?
Youth media can inform the world during the coronavirus pandemic through Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube and Tik Tok. Since most teens are on all of these social media platforms where they can inform others about the pandemic, and everyone is at home and they are noticing their videos. There are videos out there that inform others about keeping safe, symptoms and such.
Who is your role model?
My role models are my parents. I know everyone says that but mine are. They have always pushed me to be great and hard working, and taught me “When you start a job, you always gotta finish.”
