Why did you choose to get involved in storytelling?
I got involved with storytelling because I love how creative you can get and also how you can bring words to life visually.
What story are you most proud of?
One of the stories i’m most proud of is “Is it hard for males to express their feelings.?” My group and I had many different responses from our peers. Which made us think deeper about the topic and how it affects males on a daily basis’s.
How can youth media change the world?
Youth media can inform the world during the corona-virus pandemic by using their the social medias. Many popular social media apps such as TikTok and Instagram have kids and teens with a large following. A positive way they could utilize their platform is by sharing and performing ways to stay safe during this pandemic. Although, it is not their responsibility, it can help lift the stereotype that young people are immature.
Who is your role model?
My role is Michelle Obama because she gives genuine advice and speeches on how hard it is to be successful as black women in America.
