Six-word Memoir: Taking one day at a time.

Why did you choose to get involved in storytelling?

I enjoy making videos about topics nobody talks about. Because most likely, if we haven’t talked about it in the media or news by now we probably need to start talking about it sooner or later.

What story are you most proud of?

I’m proud of my No Bull Challenge Video “What do YOU See” it’s showing to the world that you shouldn’t let negative thoughts bring you down. Even though the three people I interviewed had been bullied, or have had low self esteem, they won’t let those nasty words and thoughts destroy them. So they wrote all those terrible things on a mirror and completely destroyed the mirror; they broke the negative thoughts.

How can youth media change the world?

I feel that teens are hearing all of these grown adults speak truthfully, but they don’t want to take them seriously. So maybe if they’re hearing warnings and facts from people their age they’ll start taking this situation much more seriously.

Who is your role model?

I don’t think I have one role model per say. I hate giving one role model because to me that makes it seem like I only look up to one person. So I’d like to say that I have a group of people that inspire me to do better. This includes my parents, friends, and favorite artists; one of them being Billie Eilish.
