Why did you choose to get involved in storytelling?
I chose to get involved in storytelling because I grew tired of hearing everyones story except my community’s. There are stories out there that need to be told so if no one else will share them then I will.
What story are you most proud of?
The only story I was able to help tell was about labels. Although I wish I had more stories, I am still proud because we were able to talk about labels not many people could relate to.
How can youth media change the world?
The youth can inform the world during the pandemic in the way that since we are the most involved with social media then we can spread messages of how to stay safe.
Who is your role model?
My role model is my mom because she has taught my siblings and I how to create something out of nothing.
