American Graduate Day is a live national, multi-platform broadcast event focusing on the individuals and organizations working in communities across the country to keep students on the path to graduation.

“I was incredibly honored and thankful for the opportunity to be a part of this amazing program. I never thought I would be able to be on live TV at 18 years old,” Huff said.

During rehearsal, she had the opportunity to meet a journalism hero, Bob Woodward of the Washington Post. In 1972, Woodward and his partner Carl Bernstein broke the Watergate scandal story that led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon.
