Mohammad Pasha

Mohammad is no stranger to the youth media landscape. He comes from GB Youth Media based in Silver Spring, Maryland which provides free media arts programs to over 350 youth participants. He became a youth media instructor after receiving funding from the Shattuck Grant for Entrepreneurship and Social Change and later became a program coordinator and grant writer for the organization. He created new high school programs on video, studio design and documentary, and helped students complete short documentaries on issues including the youth vaping crisis and racial equity. He graduated from the University of Maryland at Baltimore with a BA in media and communications studies, and co-founded a fitness nonprofit, Revamp Fit, to encourage movement in local communities at risk of health complications including seniors and victims of substance abuse.
