SRL Homegrown

Mighty Greens, part of City Blossoms’ Youth Entrepreneurship Cooperative Program, is a high school student-led social enterprise based in Washington D.C. Members learn how to grow, harvest and sell edible and native plants while partnering with community organizations to combat hunger and improve food access.

Produced by Kevin Broome, Alex Cirino, Caden Jacobs, and Leah Thomas from Frederick Douglass High School and John F. Kennedy High School in Maryland and Woodrow Wilson High School in Washington D.C. as part of the Spring 2018 SRL Homegrown Fellowship led by Kristy Choi.
