Student reporters explore changing narratives around stereotypes and misconceptions

ARLINGTON, Va. – PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Labs (SRL) launched a new series from its national network of teen reporters that explores how young people break down misconceptions and challenge stereotypes about who they are

40 Labs responded to the assignment and produced over 58 videos. Themes arose and a few of these videos were compiled into montages, which aired on NewsHour Weekend in January and February:
