How a 9th grader’s letter to Gwen Ifil inspired an entire school

Sophie from Phillip’s Academy had a skype interview with Gwen Ifil as part of the SRL program in DC. She wrote to Gwen and asked her to speak at Middle School graduation and said that just as “you inspired me with your words,” she wants her to inspire her classmates. Gwen agreed and spoke at her graduation.
