Camera traps help citizen scientists count critters and document change

Red Butte Canyon in Utah’s Central Wasatch Range is an oasis for animals of all kinds. Citizen scientists with Wasatch Wildlife Watch are using camera traps to measure how urban development and human recreation impact the local wildlife populations.
