Kauai’s Biomass Generator, creates green energy while reducing invasive species

Students at Kauai High School interviewed Bob Culnan, the operation coordinator of the Kauai Island Utility Cooperative’s Biomass Generator. The generator creates green electricity by burning biomass, which is organic matter. Currently they are using Albizia trees, an invasive species.
