Medical facility in renovated mill is pipeline for nursing students
Blackstone-Millville Regional High School | Blackstone, MA
Fall River, Massachusetts was once a manufacturing capital. Today, abandoned mills still scatter the city’s landscape and the area struggles with high unemployment rates. 20 years ago, one of Fall River’s largest employers PrimaCare decided to open its medical facilities in a 150-year-old historic granite mill complex. Today, PrimaCare is creating a job pipeline for nursing students at Diman Regional Vocational High School with the hope of keeping more young people in the community.
