Oregon teen memorializes friend through music

Like many teens, Shyla Winchester listens to music as an outlet for emotions. She also writes and records original music as an outlet for emotions connected to life events. The Beaverton Academy of Science and Engineering freshman talks about how writing a song helped her process the loss of a close friend to suicide during the pandemic.
