Self-made man develops a small product with big uses
Etiwanda High School | Rancho Cucamonga, CA
79-year-old Frank Gregus retells the story of his career, from his first machine shop job at 16 to becoming president of Analytical Industries, Inc. Gregus’ success came from his love of solving problems for others. The small piece of technology his company produced is used in hospitals and in the U.S. Navy when soldiers go underwater.
Produced by Carly Soos, Jenna Jensen and Riana Teran at Etiwanda High School in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Instruction provided by SRL Connected Educator Bernadine Judson. Station support provided by PBS SoCal and Joanne Faryon.
