SRL students respond to #NeverAgain movement on South Florida PBS

One week after the school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglass High School in Parkland, South Florida PBS — the state’s largest public media company that serves 6.3 million viewers — aired a selection of  student reactions from SRL teens around the country on their weekly public affairs show, “Your South Florida.”

Students expressed their feelings and opinions on gun reform and the groundswell of student activism following the shooting that left 17 dead. The episode focused largely on how their community is responding and coping with the tragedy.

In total, SRL received nearly 80 videos from 21 Labs in 13 states.
