Reporting Labs share stories of giving back with White House Student Film Festival

This year’s White House Student Film Festival asked students K-12 to submit short films about the meaning of “giving back”. And as luck would have it, youth journalists from our network of Student Reporting Labs recently tackled the same topic in a series of stories about the ways that young people are helping their communities. Our Labs discovered that their peers are doing remarkable work, from volunteering at the local VA hospital to starting early math programs and mentoring other students.
