Boys and Girls Club is family while parents are at work

West Ranch High School | Stevenson Ranch, CA

Since its founding in 1968, the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley has been an oasis for students who need a place to go after school. These students have the opportunity to work on homework, partake in arts and crafts and socialize with friends — all while their parents are at work.

Produced by Moriah Hayes, Callie Thompson and Matthew Yahata, students at West Ranch High School in Santa Clarita, California.

Instruction provided by SRL Connected Educator Jennifer Overdevest.

Mentor support provided by PBS SoCal.
