Girls living in poverty refuse to devalue their self-worth

With all the misleading stereotypes about people who live in poverty, it’s hard to maintain a positive self-image, especially as a teenager. But these young women know their identity is separate from their financial status — and their family’s struggles do not define their self-worth.
