How one teen overcame her reluctance to seek counseling

After a traumatic car accident that killed her goddaughter, Mariah felt sad and lost but didn’t know what to do. Mariah’s mom sought help from Janay Sutton, the Director of Family and Health Services at the school. Initially reluctant, Mariah soon realized that working with a therapist on a weekly basis was the key to her recovery.
