Berkeley professor Silvia Bunge worked with reporters from Youth Beat to introduce them to her studies on how our brains solve problems, why we all make decisions differently and how environmental factors, like poverty, may play a larger role in cognitive brain function than genetics.

Produced by Sylvia Colt, Olin Pritchard, Jason Nguyen, Kristian Manning, and Makeda Kaya at Youth Beat in Oakland, California. Instruction provided by SRL Connected Educator Hannah Miller and Jake Schoenker.
