Homeless, transgender immigrant teen finds hope in education

In the hopes for a better life, Hunter Heksch, along with his family, left Hungary to immigrate to the United States. But this land of opportunity wasn’t what he’d hoped. If struggling to maintain high grades wasn’t enough, Hunter is homeless and is currently searching for acceptance after identifying as transgender.
